		<description>Thanks Nick for the link. Those are some good cartoons. Stuff like what you and Marshall are doing is what I could envision the editorial cartooning community doing more often - live reporting. It just fits into this new era of more news provider/reader interaction created by blogs, forums and icaught/youtube.</description>

It worked reasonably well, except that I was also doing a regular cartoon for the next day&#039;s paper at the same time, which cut into blogging time.  Traffic to the blog increased about three fold....my editors were happy with it.  Still, I&#039;d do it differntely next time;  More writing and more sketches, and I&#039;d skip the regular cartoon to free up more time for blogging.
