		<description>I find Garry Trudeau&#039;s comments from this ceremony interesting.

I&#039;m not a big fan of Doonesbury.  I think Doonesbury tries too hard to be topical, replacing what voice it once had with strained repeated whinings.  Over and over again.  On the occasions I&#039;ve read the strip over the last few years it&#039;s like beating a dead horse.  Okay yeah I get it, you&#039;re against the war in Iraq, you don&#039;t like Bush.  Blah blah blah.

What I DO like about Doonesbury, or rather the HISTORY of Doonesbury is it&#039;s evolution from it&#039;s early years as a college strip.  For me, Doonesbury&#039;s legacy (there&#039;s that word again) is it&#039;s only redeeming factor.</description>
