Phil Frank to lecture on Bay Area politics
Farley creator Phil Frank will be lecturing at a San Francisco Museum and Historical Society (SFMHS) function on the 10th of April. He’ll be talking about his “fascinating relationships with five administrations of SF mayors and Bay Area politics” as well as auctioning off some of his originals to raise money for the museum. He’ll also have signed copies of his Farley collections.

Starting off the article by calling Frank’s Farley “the only local daily comic strip in the U.S” just proves them to be local yocals. There are many local daily comics strips in the U.S. I would think that Frank’s most famous competition in that market would be Ed Stein’s Denver Square.
