Charlos Gary to debut second comic feature
Charlos Gary, the creator of Working it Out is coming out with a new feature on April 2nd called Cafe Con Leche. The new feature will be syndicated through Creators. They’ve posted samples of the new feature on their web site.

It’s interesting to see that Creators Synd. is trying to distribute another comic with an interracial marriage theme.
Their first was “Color Blind,” which only ran for one year (1998-1999). I emailed the strip’s writer at one point and he said that the interracial marriage theme made the strip hard to sell, especially to southern newspapers.
Hopefully, those newspapers grew more tolerant in the past 10 years.
