Who’s in and out this week

A quiet week for turnovers as the two mentioned are not permanent comics but features being tested out with the readers.

The Bakersfield Californian is replacing the Pajama Diaries (registration required) after it’s six week test slot.  Taking the helm in the test slot is A Lawyer, A Doctor & A Cop, by Kieran Meehan.

The Naples Daily News (FL) has picked up Dan Piraro’s Bizarro.  Outgoing is the Other Coast.

Isn’t it wonderful that King Features has interchangable strips. One is just as mediorcre as the other. Legos of the cartooning world.

At least they are trying out new strips and not just doing re-runs of Peanuts or showcasing factory-produced strips like Garfield.

Maybe neutralised rather than neutered. I think it is an abomination that a team of artists and writers produce the strip and JD has the gall to sign it. Maybe I should add “cartoonists who don’t give due credit” to my humancull.com site….
