Love the cartoon. I wish there were a book of his cartoons. I'd send it to my sister Agnes. I hope it continues in the Washington Post.

I would like the address or e-mail address of Tony Cochran. I enjoyed his Comic Strip very much when it was published in the Chicago Tribune. I was most disappointed when it was dropped from the paper. I had a very great friend, an Infantry Officer with the 101st Infantry in Vietnam, who was the male equivelent of Agnes. I was an Infantry Officer with the 9th & the 1st Infantry in Vietnam as well and he thought I fit exactly her friend Trout. He was so much like Agnes in attitude and temperament everyone started call him by her name. We all looked with anticipation to each day's offerings so we could kid Dale about what he was up to on that particuliar day.
Tony Cochran's strip has been gone well over two years. And Dale dies December 16, 2004. Both are fondly missed and I wish, if such dreams do come true, they would both come back into my life. I believe, without a doubt or hesitation, Mr. Cochran's Agnes cartoons are the BEST and most endearing I have seen in my 64 years. Thank you.
(If you check out my website at www.LowerERates.com and click on the waving American Flag, you will see what I look liked then and exactly the same now, except the shoulder sidearm. Second thought, one's mind can really play tricks. RJB
