Masheka Wood and Mikhaela Reid to wed; Ted Rall will officiate

Ted Rall will be the officiator at a small wedding between cartoonists Masheka Wood and Mikhaela Reid this fall.  According to Mikhaela, she met Ted back in 2003 during the AAEC convention in Pittsburgh and became good friends and mentors to the now engaged couple. When Masheka and Mikhaela were trying to decide who should marry them, they opted to take advantage of a Massachusetts law that allows a close friend or family member to legally perform marriages with a special one-day designation.

The wedding, on September 2nd, will be a small ceremony with close friends and family. Congratulations to soon to be married couple!

CORRECTION: The wedding is in 2007.

Thanks so much for the congrats! One small correction–it’ll be on Sunday September 2nd in 2007, not this year (we need time to make our comic book invitations, after all!)
