Chris Brownes interviewed regarding his move to South Dakota
Last May, I reported that Chris Brown, “Hagar the Horrible” had got fed up with the over development in Sarasota, Floriday and was moving to a much more peaceful life in Sioux Falls South Dakota.
The Argus Leader has a very good Q and A regarding the move.

Dear Mr. Browne,
I love your cartoons. I attend Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls South Dakota. I saw you at the Augustana parade. I was marching in the band from Tri-Valley. Every year our church has a silent auction to raise money for our youth mission trip. I was wondering if you could donate a signed sketch for the auction. This will be my third year attending our church’s mission trip. This year we are going to SanFrancisco. I have found it very rewarding, and am anxious to attend the trip this year.
Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Alex Mader

Dear Mr. Browne:
I am the incoming president of LBK Kiwanis. We have sponsored the St. Jude Gourmet Luncheon for the past several years succeeding the ad-hoc citizen’s group.
We have come across two Hagar drawings that you made several years ago. Each is about 8×10, one B/W and the other in color.
We would like you to donate them to our Club Foundation so that they can be part of a list of raffle prizes or auctioned to raise funds for this years event scheduled for 11/15.
The donation would be tax exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the IRS Code.
Please let me know how we may best proceed.
