I am trying to reach Chris Browne. I live in the house his father designed and built in Sarasota and I have some questions I'd like to ask him. Does anyone know how to reach him or his agent?

Chris, I really hate you've left the area. Do you have some young protege's still here in Sarasota. I have written a book, "Deep Woods University... Great Stuff I Learned in the Outdoors and I need cartoon illustrations done for 36 chapters. These are funny hunting, fishing, sports-with-my-sons stories that are a launchpad for helping men to understand themselves and their struggles. The stories are designed to make them laugh and hmmmm as they read things they identify with. I've written it with the unchurched sports guy in mind. The pictures will be strange mind-stimulators like big-eyed turkeys discovering a sleeping hunter as they peer over a stump where he's snoring. (941) 374-3943 - Bro Rick

Chris,

Yours is the only comic that I read in our newspaper. I find it to be the best by far. I have always enjoyed a good laugh and you have provided that for me and I'm sure many others.
This morning I read your comic where Hagar and his troops all fell off the latter when they all sneezed at the same time. I must tell you that I couldn't finish my coffee from laughing. What a talent you have for making people laugh.
Keep up the good work.

Sincerely,

John Thorson

Chris... Enjoy reading Hagar daily, but find
the repetitious "surrounded by hoards" idea, which no human would be able to escape, not just tiresome but frustrating. I know its just a comic strip, and the dialogue between Hagar & Lucky Larry is amusing under such circumstances, but it ceases to be amusing after the hundredth time. In most situations it would be just as amusing if it were used in a scenario where our heroes had at least the smallest of chances to escape ...guaranteeing a return the next day and lending at least a smidgin of believeability.
