2005 Lurie Award winners announced

I’m not seeing any official announcements, but this story from the Philippine Daily Inquirer mentions the three winners of the 2005 Ranan Lurie UN Award.

The top winners of the 2005 Lurie Awards were Gerald Mayer Hofer of Austria, David Pope of Australia and Osamni Simanca of Brazil, who were awarded the first, second and third prizes, respectively.

  1. I followed the link to Ranan Lurie’s biography. Lots and lots of pictures of Ranan Lurie with Very Important People or standing in front of his Very Large and Expensive House, and lists of his Major Awards, yet almost no examples of his actual drawings. I’m beginning to think he’s a little silly.
